As the sun reached its highest point on the summer solstice, I quietly began mapping the life I’m growing between now and the winter solstice, which is my birthday. This season, I’m manifesting all of my dreams by following my dream map. I wrote a long list of things I wish to accomplish between now and my December 21st winter solstice birthday. I plan to assess how I’m doing at the autumn equinox, then work my way to the winter solstice. After the shortest day of the year, I will go over my dream map and plan my goals for the summer solstice, June 21st, 2026. I plan not to change, but to be a better version of myself. I also plan to celebrate the seasons, the holidays, the special moments that life brings.
Living life in full bloom does not mean my life is free of problems. Let’s pretend it’s raining hard and you have to get to your car. You know you are going to get wet, you don’t even have an umbrella; but the only way is to risk a good soaking from the rain is by running. Your car is your destination. That’s part of living life in full bloom: running through the rain and the muck.
Blooming isn’t all sunshine and warmth; it’s also storms and wind. The point is to keep running through the rain, and soon everything will dry off. If you quit mid-storm, you will be worse for the wear when the sun comes out again. So, I’m building my dream map, and I’m forging forward despite what happens, as I’m trying to live my life in full bloom. Rain does help everything turn green, so let it rain. I will not quit. Soon I plan to bask in the sun.
And maybe, just maybe, this will be the year everything blossoms brighter than ever before; because I always believe in new beginnings and the beauty of tomorrow.
What’s on your dream map, your bucket list?
Love and Light,
Rose
